What you type stays in your browser

The calculators run entirely in your browser. Your battery levels, appliance lists, energy use and other inputs are not sent to us or anyone else. There are no accounts and no forms that collect personal information.

Analytics

To understand which tools are useful, we use:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views and performance without cookies.
• Google Analytics 4, which records anonymous events such as “calculator completed” or “next step clicked”. These events contain only broad categories (for example the tool name, vehicle model and a result type like “needs Powerwall”), never your inputs. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off.

Advertising

We have applied to show ads through Google AdSense. No ads are shown yet. Once they are:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites on the Internet. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ad Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Ads never receive anything you type into the calculators.

Links to other sites

Tool pages link to manufacturer and third-party sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Changes

If we add affiliate links or any form that collects information, this policy will be updated before that happens.
